The Investment

When you commit to this process, I commit to you. That means showing up prepared, present, and fully invested in your growth — every single session. Outside of our sessions, I’m regularly learning, attending trainings, and preparing so that our time together is as intentional and effective as possible. When you invest in this work, I invest right back. Because meaningful change happens when you feel truly seen, supported, and understood.

I am Self Pay Only at this time. I can provide you with a superbill — a detailed receipt you submit directly to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Contact your insurance company and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before our first session.

Why Clients Choose Private Pay?

You Are More Than a Diagnosis!

Working with insurance means, I’m required to assign a clinical diagnosis in order to bill for our sessions. While diagnoses can be helpful for understanding patterns and symptoms, they were never meant to be a fixed label. You are far more than a diagnosis and your treatment should reflect that.

Your Care, Your Terms!

Insurance companies also get to weigh in on your treatment, including how many sessions you can have, what goals we focus on, and whether your care is “medically necessary” by their standards. Private pay removes all of that. What we work on, how long we work together, and the pace we move at is entirely between you and me.

Greater Privacy!

Private pay also means greater privacy. When insurance is billed, your diagnosis and treatment details are shared with your insurance company and may be accessible to other parties down the road. Paying privately keeps what we discuss out of that system, and in the room where it belongs.

Cancellation Policy

I hold your session time exclusively for you. I ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee. I understand emergencies happen and will always do my best to work with you when they arise.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before beginning services. If you have questions about costs at any point, please just ask — transparency is important to me.

During your First appointment

We will go over background information, your goals, your needs, expectations, the counseling process, and create a plan together to have a successful journey.

I often get asked, “How long will I need counseling?” This process is entirely up to you. I’m here to support and encourage you along the way in your self-care journey. The typical time spent in counseling is 15-25 sessions. We can set the pace at whatever feels right for you. I can offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions.
